We are working to fund, build, and install 10 hives in our Slovenian bee house.

All PROCEEDS will go towards the immediate necessities required to make this a reality! We appreciate your help meeting this goal. Once BEE-SOURCE Bee Farm is up and running, we will work tirelessly to make backyard beekeeping easy, attractive and accessible, increasing populations globally.

Holistic Beekeeping.

How it started:

Watching a city bee struggle to find nectar in 2019 re-ignited my passion for honey bees. In September of 2020, I bought the perfect property to bring my dream of a holistic bee farm to life, 40 mountain top acres in rural Idaho.

1/3 of all food and 90% of wild plants rely on pollination, but due to industrial practices and disease, there are not enough wild bees to sustain the world's plants. I aim to create an environment where they don't just survive but thrive.

Using my secluded meadows and the protection of the Slovenian Bee house to breed bees. We will continually increase our numbers and offer Tiny Slovenian-style hive and bee packages for backyard use. The goal is to make beekeeping simple and fun and increase sustainable hives in rural and urban areas.

Raw Mountain Honey is a delicious perk!!

In Oct of 2020, we were able to bring the first bee house up the Mountain, and in March, we will complete insulating and EMF radiation proofing their home. I chose a Slovenian-style house because of the increased protection from the elements and predators like black bears. The hives are currently being built and will be installed as soon as they are finished! I can't wait to update you on the progress as the bees get settled into their new home!!
